New shiny but long lasting lip-wear by L’Oreal
First is first, cute packaging right?
I thought the matte era would never come to an end! And I was on the verge of surrendering to the uncomfy matte lipstick formulas, when I saw the light, shine bright on the first really exciting launch of shiny lipsticks. Color Riche Shine Lipsticks by L’Oreal! I believe there is 16 shades in total in the global launch of these amazing lippies, but in Denmark, where I am situated you find 12 shades – as far as I have been informed. This formula knocked my socks off, the finish is so refreshing, ultra glossy – almost to the point of vinyl and the benefits…. the benefits make me and my lips very very happy campers. The formula is infused with Omega 3, vitamin E and argan oil. No jokes. These lippies will makeup your lips look as good as they will feel.
I was so lucky to be gifted 6 shades and I have of course tried all 6 shades of Color Riche Shine lipsticks out for you guys to see right here.
In no particular order here comes.
The first lipstick I tried on was this very brownish nude shade, it did not ending up giving me too much color, but a very pretty glass like shine on the lips.
The Color Riche Shine Lipstick in the shade 642 #mlbb (my lips but better)
Next lipstick I tried on was this very light rose shade.
L’Oreal Color Riche Shine in the shade 11
On me this shade turns bubblegum/baby pink almost, although still rather sheer and super glossy. Just like the other L’Oreal Color Riche Shine lipsticks this one provides lasting moisture to your lips. And because this shade is pretty light with a cooler undertone it works perfectly as a base for other shades and lipstick formulas.
Next shade is also a pink, a soft hot pink, with a bit more of a blue undertone, than the one above. This also has a bit more color pay off than the two first.
L’Oreal Color Riche Shine lipstick in the shade 465 Trend
This shade shows as a true pink on my lips, but is still sheer enough that it looks natural. But I feel like this shade is the first of the three that actually feels and looks more lipstick-y rather than lipbalm-y.
The next shade I would categorize as a true grape purple.
L’Oreal Color Riche Shine in the shade 464 Color
This shade translates a bit more pink on me than I would like. I really like the color of the bullet and I was hoping it would turn up as a true purple on the lips. But if you are on the market for a very comfortable lipstick in a beautiful hot pink shade with a purple pull, this is your shade for sure.
The 5th shade that I tried is what I would call a true magenta.
L’Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in XX
A true magenta pink with a glass like shine and finish. This shade is so incredible and builds up to this thick glassy stunning pink. You can wear it sheered out as well, if you aren’t in the mood for full on glazed lips. But who isn’t? -lets be real.
The last shade is my fave and is a bold firetruck red.
L’Oreal Color Riche Shine in the shade 352 Beaut
This amazingly beautiful red also builds up to a full pigmented glazed lip and has the same incredible glass like finish as the last. I am very chocked about the longevity of this formula too. You are always counting out shiny formulas when talking about long lasting lip-wear, but these can actually compete.
You can get these 6 shades and 6 more at Matas.dk from today. YAY.
I would love to know which of these 6 shades was your favourite! So please leave me a comment below.
Thanks for reading about my love for shine and gloss.
See you next time.
